What we can see
- For E2E chats (1:1, small groups): who talks to whom and when — but never what was said. Message content is opaque ciphertext to us.
- For cloud chats (large groups, channels, bot chats): message content, so search + moderation can work.
- Contact list (phone + username lookups) — hashed before lookup, ephemeral in query logs.
- Profile data (username, display name, avatar, bio).
- Device info (primary vs linked, last seen).
What we don't do
- No tracking pixels. No ads.
- No cross-product surveillance — QuikyChat doesn't learn from your QuikyShop purchases unless you explicitly link them.
- No selling data. Ever.
Agents
Bots are users with a human owner. Human AI agents acting on your behalf can only operate with your explicit quikychat:agent:* OAuth scope grant.
